BIERI is standardising the design status and will change all parts with black passivated surface protection to stainless steel in the coming months.
The standard with stainless steel has already been introduced for the latest products such as WVH-6i, WVM-6I, DB700 with positive experiences. For all 1000 bar products and for individual exceptions, stainless steel is not applied and the corrosion protection zinc/nickel is used.
Please note that delivered products may visually look different from previous deliveries (colour change from black to silver).
The change to stainless steel gives BIERI the opportunity to significantly increase corrosion protection. You can recognise the stainless steel version by the upgraded index, whereby the material number remains unchanged.
BIERI plans to have completed the modifications by 30 June 2025.
